Well, our summer break is over, and we’re tanned, rested, and ready to rock-and-roll, Twin Peaks-style, meaning ominously and adorably. We fire the engines back up with Season 2, “Dispute Between Brothers,” which sees our hosts squaring off on different sides of the Bob/Leland debate! So meta! Damon explains why there is some real potential in this episode, even if it is fated to be unfulfilled; Jonathan breaks down why this episode is a big ol’ goose egg, and how it might have lived up to its promise; Colin is in newbie-land and just wants everyone to get along; and Jennifer looks at teen life in Twin Peaks, sparking a discussion of the power and and perils of nostalgia. For the Twist, we each daydream about which piece of Peaks memorabilia we would love to snag for our personal collections.
